Overview
Coupons are a powerful tool to encourage customer return visits, boost engagement, and drive additional purchases. With RaveCapture, you can create custom coupons to reward customers for leaving reviews and other engagement actions, helping you incentivize valuable interactions that benefit your store. You can send these coupons immediately or schedule a delay.
Types of Coupons:
Static: Same code for all recipients.
Dynamic: Unique code for each recipient, uploaded from your eCommerce platform.
WHY Use Coupons?
Coupons serve as an excellent incentive to promote customer engagement and foster loyalty. By offering discounts in exchange for specific actions, such as leaving reviews or sharing on social media, merchants can achieve:
Increased Return Rates: Coupons can drive repeat purchases, leading to a higher customer lifetime value.
Enhanced Customer Interaction: Engaging customers with review incentives encourages more frequent and meaningful interactions, especially for higher-value actions (e.g., adding a photo).
User-Generated Content (UGC) Growth: By rewarding reviews, especially with photos and videos, you can gather content that can be shared and repurposed in marketing.
Social Proof and Trust: More reviews with rich media provide social proof, helping build trust with prospective buyers and enhancing your store's credibility.
Coupons also allow flexibility with expiration dates and personalized rewards, making it easy to tailor incentives to specific customer actions and campaigns.

Step 1: Type of Coupon Engagement
The first step is selecting the action customers need to complete to receive the coupon. Some examples include:

Writing a review & sharing on social media
Completing an Experience Collector
Note: When creating a coupon for "Complete an Experience Survey" a specific survey can be specified from the drop-down menu as well as "any survey".
Pro Tip: Offer varying discounts based on the action’s value (e.g., 10% off for a review, 15% for a review with photo).
Step 2: Type of Coupon
Select between:
Static: Every customer receives the same code.
Dynamic: Each customer receives a unique code from a CSV file of codes created in your eCommerce platform.
With Dynamic Coupons, you can also enable low-code reminder emails to ensure you always have a stock of codes ready to send.
Step 3: Set an Optional Expiration
You can choose from three expiration options:
Rolling Expiration: Set the number of days the coupon is valid after issuance.
Fixed Expiration: Set a specific expiration date for the coupon.
No Expiration: The coupon remains active indefinitely.
Example of Rolling Expiration: If set to 30 days:
A review on Nov 1 results in a coupon expiration on Nov 30.
