Review Insights empowers merchants to:

Spot emerging trends – Identify products experiencing significant positive or negative review changes.

How to Use Review Insights

Step 1: Access Review Insights

  1. Navigate to the Review Insights section from your dashboard.

  2. Select a date range to analyze trends:

    • Last 7 days

    • Last 30 days

    • Last 3 months

    • All Time


Step 2: Fetch Review Data

  • Click "Fetch Data" to generate insights for the selected time period.

  • If you refresh the page, the system will display cached data instead of reloading insights.


Understanding Review Insights Data

1. Highlights: Product Trends & Performance

After fetching data, you’ll see insights on trending products:

  • Top 3 Products with Positive Trends – Products with a notable increase in their average review ratings.

  • Top 3 Products with Negative Trends – Products with a decline in review ratings.

Each product card displays:
Product Name
Average Review Rating for the selected period
Change in Rating (Increase or Decrease)

💡 Actionable Step: Click “See What’s Working” or “What Needs Work” to open a detailed analysis drawer, which includes:

  • Customer Sentiment Summary – AI-driven analysis of positive and negative feedback.

  • Opportunities Section – Actionable insights to improve or promote products.

  • Recent Reviews – Displays the latest three reviews for further insights.


2. Trending Themes

The Trending Themes section categorizes product reviews into key parent themes, making it easier to understand customer feedback at scale.

🔹 Keyword Chart – Highlights frequently mentioned keywords within each theme to provide deeper insights into customer concerns.

💡 Actionable Step: Use trending themes to:

  • Identify recurring issues (e.g., sizing problems, durability concerns).

  • Recognize common positive feedback (e.g., loved features, excellent value).

  • Adjust product descriptions, FAQs, and marketing based on common customer feedback.


3. Sentiment Analysis: Visual Breakdown of Customer Reviews

The Sentiment Analysis section displays a hollow pie chart (donut chart), categorizing reviews into:

🟢 Positive Reviews (4-5 stars)
🟡 Neutral Reviews (3 stars)
🔴 Negative Reviews (1-2 stars)

💡 Actionable Step:

  • Identify pain points based on negative feedback.

  • Recognize product strengths from positive reviews.

  • Track sentiment trends over time to measure product improvement efforts.

Each category also displays exact review counts, making it easy to quantify customer sentiment.


4. Trends: Deeper Product Performance Analysis

This section provides an overall trend analysis of how products are performing based on historical review data.

🔹 Adjust Date Ranges – Capture review trends over different time scales.
