Why Adding Trust Elements Matters
Trust Elements, like review badges and banners, are essential for improving the social proof visitors see when they land on your online store. By displaying verified reviews, you can build trust and credibility with potential customers, leading to more conversions and sales. Consider adding these elements to key sections like your home page, footer, and product pages to maximize visibility.

Trust Elements are verified graphics provided by RaveCapture that showcase your store’s reviews. There are a variety of Trust Elements available, including:
Badges
Banners
Tabs
Pages
These Trust Elements help communicate to potential customers that your business is trusted and has satisfied customers. This article covers how to add both inline Trust Elements and Full Page Trust Elements to your Shopify store.
How to Add Inline Trust Elements
If you're looking to add one of the following inline Trust Elements to your Shopify store, follow the steps below:

Step 1
Within your Shopify Admin Panel, click on Online Store.
Step 2
Click on Themes.
Step 3
For your current theme, click on Actions > Edit Code.
Step 4
Click on Theme.liquid to add the Trust Element to all main pages on your site.
From RaveCapture, select the Trust Element you want to add and click "Copy". Then, paste the code into the desired section of your Theme.liquid file (e.g., near the footer to display it across all pages).
Tip: To center a Trust Element, wrap the code with <center> </center> tags.
Step 5
Once you’re happy with the placement, click on Save in the top right corner. If the code was added correctly, you should now see the Trust Element displayed on your site.
How to add Full Page Elements
You can also add Full Page Trust Elements, which take up an entire page on your site. These are perfect for creating a Customer Reviews or Testimonials section. Follow the steps below to add:

Step 1
In your Shopify Admin Panel, click on Online Store.
Step 2:
Click on Pages
Step 3:
Click Add Page
Step 4:
Customize the page title (e.g., "Our Reviews"), which will also determine the URL link for this page (e.g., www.yourstore.com/our-reviews).
Step 5:
In the Content area, click on the < > icon to open the HTML editor. Paste your Trust Page or Trust Block code here.
Click Save at the bottom right corner. If everything was added correctly, the Trust Element will now be visible on your reviews page.
